March 6, 2006 THE RETURN OF TURNING UP THE HEAT... Nope.. just doesn’t have the same feel as RETURN OF THE JEDI! Ok, so it has been a while since I updated this. Yea I know…but hey what can you do? Well, this plans to be a short commentary so here goes. 2005 ended with a BANG… or rather a THUMP. See on Nov 5th, I was working Damian Wayne in Oakwood, VA and I suffered a severe concussion. And no, it wasn’t his fault, just one of them things that happens. So, I took a week off and returned to the ring on Nov 19th in which I tagged with Chris Dramin against Brandon Day, Krotch and 6D6. I got so dizzy during the match to the point that I almost passed out a few times. Not fun. Ok, I will say it right here and now… ONE OF MY REGRETS IN WRESTLING IS NOT BEING ABLE TO WORK 6D6 AGAIN. Shortly after that match he retired from active ring duty. 6D6 is a fun worker and we really matched up well. Even some of the fans said they would have liked to seen a Blaze vs. 6D6 program. Sadly, that won’t happen. Then, the next day, I tagged up with Scotty Rocker against UNOD. THANK GOD it was against them, because my dizziness got worse to where I could have hurt myself and others had it not been for the experience of UNOD. So, I go to the doc and she tells me to take time off from wrestling. DAMN! She then tells me that I need to allow 2-3 weeks from the point of my last dizzy spell. So I took off the rest of 2005 and then through all of January and most of February. I made my return to active ring action for AWA/CWF Mid-Atlantic a couple of weeks ago. I teamed with Jesse Ortega and took on Noah Lott and Cuban Assassin from AWA Apex. It was an easy match and with my past history with Cuban, really fell into place with the storyline they had for Ortega. Then last night I worked for USA Main Event Wrestling in Council, VA. I say it right here and now MAPQUEST SUCKS AT GIVING DIRECTIONS! They gave the most backward ass way to get there. Thankfully, Drake found a better way back. Upcoming for me the next 3 shows is a program with Brandon Day for NWA Virginia. Next week in Chilhowie on March 11th (WHICH IS MY BIRTDAY BY THE WAY) After that, March 18th in Beaver, WV for NWA Mountain State and then again on March 25th in Middlesex, VA for NWA Virginia.
